Peoples Rating 17 votes 4.3 Rate This Beer Aventinus GERMANY Type of Beer- Ale. G Schneider and Sohn of Munich. This is a Doppelbock wheat ale. I'm not crazy about the combination of wheat and beer. The flavor isn't my favorite. This isn't bad though. The Germans really seem to be able to make most any beer good. Good balance, nice bouquet and very smooth with a velvety finish.
